Beneficiaries of Ovarian Cycle 2007

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, which makes it the ideal time to officially announce where the proceeds from the 2007 Ovarian Cycle event are going. Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) will receive $85,000 and Ovarian Cancer Institute (OCI) will receive $40,000, for a total donation of $125,000 to ovarian cancer research efforts - a 27% increase over 2006! We are on a roll and are so pleased that each year the event gets stronger and stronger. Thank you again for all of your hard work. It's paying off! We believe strongly in both OCRF and OCI and look forward to a continued relationship with each organization. [top]

Then, the celebration continued on to the Women's Center where guests were treated to a light brunch and listened to speakers - Patti Owen (Northside Hospital), Dr. Benedict Benigno (Ovarian Cancer Institute and Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology) and Janet Kempe (Ovarian Cancer Survivor).
