Board

Year round commitment:

• Attend monthly board meeting
• Provide leadership and strategic vision for Ovarian Cycle
• Develop and implement strategic plan for growth or the organization
• Motivate and direct volunteer committees

Committees

Attend committee meeting several times yearly:

Clubs

• Develop relationships with area health clubs
• Recruit area health clubs to participate in the event
• Maintain existing relationships with clubs

Recruiting

• Develop participant recruiting strategy
• Identify key events to recruit riders
• Attend events to recruit riders
• Develop necessary recruitment tools

Community Development

• Identify community partners and develop relationships with them to find mutually beneficial ways of cross-promoting both organizations

Corporate Sponsorships

• Steward the organization to the corporate community in identifying corporate sponsorship opportunities
• Development and execution of sponsorship plan
• Provide key input to sponsorship proposals

In-kind Donations

• Identify and develop relationships with potential sponsors
• Maintain relationships with current sponsors
• Assist in securing in-kind donations for the event

Event Planning

• Develop time line for planning of the event
• Coordinate details of final ride and other events leading up to the ride
• Expansion & Development
• Development of strategic long-term plan and corresponding tools for executing a national event

Marketing & Communications

• Develop and implement marketing plan and communications plan
• Identify marketing opportunities targeted at developing the Ovarian Cycle brand
• Develop and execute marketing and communications materials
• Provide direction for website content

Public Relations

• Develop and implement public relations plan
• Identify public relations opportunities
• Develop and maintain press contacts
• Write and distribute Ovarian Cycle press releases
